Kide Science raises EUR 750K to spur Asian growth
Finnish early childhood education company Kide Science has closed a funding round led by KSI Education and Europe’s leading seed edtech investor, Emerge Education.
The other institutional investors were impact-focused UK-based investor MPA Education, Italy’s Zanichelli Venture and Finland’s Reaktor Ventures. Also private investors participated in the funding round.

Equipping children with science process skills before school has been shown to result in better learning outcomes.
The pedagogical approach of Kide Science has recently generated a lot of interest in Asia, where the Finnish company has started teacher training in China and Singapore, and opened a two-storey science centre in Malaysia.
Asian focus
The investment from KSI Education is of strategic importance, with the London-headquartered international education financing company also having branches in Hong Kong, Beijing, Shenzhen, Shanghai and Singapore.
