Gigglebug teams up for new Pronto series

Created by Anttu Harlin and Joonas Utti, the founders of Gigglebug Entertainment, the original series will be co-produced by APC Kids’ animation studio, Zephyr Animation, with APC Kids currently on the lookout for broadcast partners. The news was reported byThe Fan Carpet.

Pronto

joins in on the adventures of an elite package delivery service, IMP-EX, that prides itself in delivering the impossible: a black hole, the Loch Ness monster, a beehive or even hair care products for a grumpy Medusa.

“With Pronto, we want to tell the story of a young delivery hero with the most amazing job in the world,” said Harlin in the article. “But he has a hopeless sense of direction and zero natural talent for the job. Still, Pronto always manages to come out on top, because his heart is his compass. It’s the kind of lovable comedy underdog superhero story that really tickles us. Bumps, bruises, and blunders guaranteed.”

APC Kids, headed by Lionel Marty, is the children’s entertainment division of About Premium Content (APC), a leading international co-production and distribution company. It only recently launched Zephyr Animation with David Sauerwein at the helm.

“Lionel and David are wonderful people who set their eyes on the premise about a year ago, and we are thrilled to have sealed this partnership in order to bring this story to the global stage,” Harlin continued.
