Etteplan expands further into China
Finnish engineering company Etteplan has opened its eighth office in a new region of China.
’s new office is set to open in mid-February in Shenzhen, a major city in the Guangdong Province in Southwest China. The expansion is a response to growing demand for Etteplan’s services in the region.
The Finnish company has operated in China since 2004 and has continued to invest heavily in the country. Its range of services includes industrial equipment and machinery engineering solutions, software and embedded solutions, and technical documentation solutions.
“The opening of China’s service market creates demand for expert and engineering services provided by Etteplan,” saidJuha Näkki, president and CEO of Etteplan. “The office that is now being opened is expanding Etteplan’s operations geographically in China to a new area and enabling companies operating in Southwest China to be better served.”
Etteplan now holds offices in eight Chinese cities – Beijing, Shanghai, Kunshan, Suzhou, Xi’an, Qingdao, Wuhan and Shenzhen – with a total staff of approximately 400.
