Valmet to supply automation package in Indonesia
Valmet has won an order to supply automation technology to Buana Megah’s PM3 board machine in Pasuruan, East Java, Indonesia.
The order includes a Valmet DNA automation system, a Valmet IQ quality control system, and consistency transmitters. It’s included in Valmet’s order intake for the first quarter of 2018, with delivery slated for the third quarter.
The board machine will produce board and liner and have an annual production capacity of 62 780 tons of board, with production expected to commence at the end of 2018. Valmet’s automation solution will enable Buana Megah to optimise its processes at the paper mill and achieve premium quality end-product.
“Valmet is capable of offering a complete automation package, including all process controls with Valmet DNA, quality control with Valmet IQ and consistency transmitters,” says Pete Teh, country manager of Valmet’s Indonesian Automation division. “Our long tradition of innovative automation solutions and professional project management are in our favour.”
