Finnish unified retail planning solution provider RELEX Solutions has acquired its Spanish distribution partner, Forecast Solutions.

<p>The two companies have been working together since 2016. Forecast Solutions’ Barcelona headquarters will now become the foundation of <a href="https://www.relexsolutions.com/" target="_blank" rel="noopener">RELEX</a>’s 11th international office.</p>

<p>The retail planning and space optimisation company is thus poised to offer Spanish retailers a range of forecasting, replenishment, space and assortment solutions. These help them raise levels of customer service while cutting inventory and waste.</p>

<p>“Our goals, ethos, and commitment to retail planning excellence are identical,” <a href="https://www.relexsolutions.com/relex-acquires-forecast-solutions/" target="_blank" rel="noopener">says</a> <strong>Anna van Ginkel</strong>, co-founder and CEO at Forecast Solutions. “Spanish retail needs what RELEX has to offer and by combining our market knowledge with RELEX’s technology and resources we have a great opportunity to give retailers here the same advantages enjoyed by their peers from San Francisco to Hong Kong.”</p>

<p>Forecast Solutions also has an established customer base in the Latin American market, with the region now on the radar for RELEX&#8217;s future plans.</p>
