Peikko has opened a new sales office in Johannesburg, South Africa, and Honka is building an exclusive holiday resort in Japan.

The new sales office for the concrete connection and composite structure supplier <a href="http://www.peikko.com/" target="_blank" rel="noopener noreferrer">Peikko</a> will focus on serving customers in South Africa and its immediate neighbouring countries. The company will provide precast and cast in-situ concrete connections in the area

“The construction sector in Africa is growing, and we have now started the journey by covering a part of this large continent,” <a href="https://www.peikko.com/news/peikko-opened-a-new-sales-office-in-south-africa/" target="_blank" rel="noopener noreferrer">says</a> Peikko CEO Topi Paananen.

Meanwhile, construction company <a href="https://honka.com/en/why-a-honka-log-home/healthy-organic-living/energy-efficiency-of-log-homes/" target="_blank" rel="noopener noreferrer">Honka</a> Japan is constructing an exclusive holiday resort for Prince Hotels in Karuizawa, Japan. The project consists of a spa and 15 log villas, built from logs sourced from Finnish pine forests. The resort will open in summer 2019.

The Finnish company has also previously supplied Prince Hotels with 20 villas and a main building at a second location in Karuizawa.
