Finnish companies Kuori, Halton, and Milestone Coaching and Consulting are expanding their influence on international markets.

Kuori, the Finnish developer of the innovative Yetitablet, has successfully closed a one-million-euro funding round that enables the further development of its platform and boosts its expansion in the Nordic markets. The funding round was led by Insmat, with participation from Business Finland.

Kuori produces giant interactive screens that, among other possible applications, are used by educators to teach children teamwork and social care providers to help vulnerable individuals communicate with others.

Meanwhile, Finnish company Halton is continuing to invest in its French operations, with a new approximately one-million-euro injection into its Béthune factory. The latest investment increases the tally that’s gone into Halton’s operations in France since 2016 to more than four million euros.

Halton is renewing its research and product development facilities in Béthune and has also introduced a unique show kitchen environment there, in which the Finnish company can test its indoor air technology in a professional environment.

Then finally to Milestone Coaching and Consulting, which has signed a collaboration and product development agreement with Amsterdam-based Learn Adapt Build (LAB).

The Finnish company’s methodology for developing corporate culture has struck a chord with LAB, as explained by its CEO Nicholas White:

“Nordic companies have been forced to adapt to societal structures, which focus on attaining good work-life balance. Milestone’s comprehensive idea of a man doubles down on the idea that, if you meet the human needs of your people, you will get ultimate results with your business. We agree with this idea.”
