Finnish companies a big deal in Denmark
Savosolar and Medixine have been busy in Denmark, where significant deals have been made in their respective fields of solar power and connected care.
has inked a final delivery contract with Danish company Grenaa Varmevaerk for the largest and most valuable project in the company’s history. The order is for a solar thermal system that includes a 21 000-square metre solar field and is worth around 3.5 million euros for the Finnish company.
Savosolar will co-operate with local partners in Denmark to build and install the system, which is expected to be handed over to Grenaa Varmevaerk at the end of February 2019.
“Co-operation between Savosolar and local partners will result in a world-class energy system for the customer,” comments Jari Varjotie, managing director of Savosolar.
Meanwhile, Finnish company Medixine’s connected care solution was included in the delivery of a health record system that Danish software company Systematic is rolling out in Southern Denmark.
The region has a population of 1.2 million, and there are 23 places of treatment in 13 hospitals where more than 22 000 healthcare professionals will be able to make use of the solution.
“We are excited to work with our long-time partner Systematic in this project,” says Dr. Tapio Jokinen, CEO of Medixine. “This large scale regional implementation demonstrates the scalability and flexibility of our Medixine Suite solution. The two companies can each concentrate in their core area of expertise: Systematic in the patient management system and Medixine in connected care.”
