Eko Harden Technologies, a Finnish specialist in greentech remediation, has entered into a marketing co-operation with CNCEC Environmental Protection (CNCEC).

The agreement enables Eko Harden Technologies’ proprietary EKOGRID technology to be used in China’s extensive soil and ground water remediation projects.

CNCEC is

a subsidiary of the large Chinese state-owned enterprise, China National Chemical Engineering Corporation.

According to Eko Harden Technologies’ Erkki Lindberg, the agreement “opens up the Chinese market for our EKOGRID electro kinetic oxidation method to be used in a vast number of remediation projects”. The company hopes to prove the method’s effectiveness in large-scale projects in North-East Asia in the near future.

The agreement was facilitated by Fidem Capital Partners, which noted the attractiveness of Eko Harden Technologies’ unique and environmentally friendly solutions.

“The EKOGRID technology represents a fantastic opportunity to dramatically increase the effectiveness, sustainability and energy efficiency in Chinese remediation projects,” says the firm’s Yngve Kristiansen.
