Caverion involved in Düsseldorf building project
Finnish company Caverion and two German real estate developers have signed a project agreement for a new sustainable office and retail building in Düsseldorf, Germany.
As part of the agreement with Centrum Projektentwicklung Düsseldorf and B + L Hamburg, Caverion will act as the technical general contractor and will be responsible for implementing air conditioning, cooling, and heating and sanitation in the KÖ-Bogen II building project.
The Finnish company will also be responsible for the project execution plan as part of its contract worth approximately 12 million euros. Caverion’s delivery is expected to be completed by autumn 2020.
“Caverion has a lot of experience accomplishing large projects,” said Peter Knopf, managing director of Centrum Projektentwicklung Düsseldorf. “Furthermore, we were convinced by their planning expertise. Caverion will develop the execution plan for the detailed assembly planning. This will save us a great deal of time.”
KÖ-Bogen II will offer office and retail space in the centre of Düsseldorf with a special focus on sustainability. Caverion has in recent years been involved also in another notable real estate project in the German city, namely the FLOAT office buildings in Düsseldorf’s media harbour.
